FUTURE EXPANSION?The Voortman V808 is an ideal foundation for future growth capabilities. All Voortman machines, including the V808, operate with the same standard VACAM control software, which means that all machines talk the same 'language'. So when more capacity is needed as you grow your business, the V808 can easily combine with other Voortman machines in a fully automated and integrated production system, also referred to as Multi System Integration.

Rat holes, seismic structural connections (jay-allan, dog bone connections), copes on the lead or trail ends of products, block outs holes of all sizes and shapes, weld preparations for marking on all sides and more Voortman's V808 can handle all four sides of the material using one robot. This makes it the most versatile machine in the market. The software allows for all cuts and profiles, as shown in the video.

The Voortman V808 has a powerful measuring and clamping machine. This fully automatic measuring roller-feed system is the fastest because it doesn't require a pusher/gripper to return home before loading another piece. It also saves hours per week. The PCR42 robotic Plasma Cutting Machine does beam coping. Notches, holes and welding preps are performed. Split beams can also be split. Scribes can be used to mark all four faces of H beams, channels, angles, HSS or plates.

Just one push of the button will get you started. Once you have imported industry-standard DSTV (or DSTV+) files, your operator can focus on loading and unloading. The machines run at a high production rate and require no manual intervention.

MSI, also referred to as Multi System Integration, opens the door to fully automate your production by connecting machines with cross transports, roller conveyors, product buffers, and material sensors. Production data only needs to be imported once and then MSI automatically distributes the data to all machines integrated in your production system.

Our in-house developed VACAM software is known for its high performance regarding automated material handling and buffer management. Active buffer management secures a priority position for the first profile in line while buffering following profiles. By continuously shifting profiles toward the datum line, new profiles can be loaded onto the handling system where the datum line is always provided with material. This significantly increases your productivity and efficiency, since machines are not waiting in idle mode for a next profile or production batch.
